With our on-going project, we are measuring greenhouse gas fluxes at the water-atmosphere interface with portable trace-gas analyzers. It is important to add to the global C budgets what wetlands, rivers, lakes emit to the atmosphere, as CH₄ and CO₂ emissions are not negligible.
