BUFFER project has just started: we are interested in the benthic functioning of sediments in the Gulf of Gdańsk. The aim is to analyze how sediments are buffered against anoxia, sulfides build up and exhaustion of ferric iron and manganic manganese pools, that lead to P-mobility.
